D&Ri is pleased to invite companies and individuals - from anywhere in the world - to come and speak at the 2024 World Demolition Summit (WDS).

The industry event for demolition, decommissioning and dismantling professionals will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, on the 6 and 7 November, 2024.

As in previous years, the summit will comprise a welcome drinks reception on the first evening, followed by a full-day conference and the World Demolition Awards gala dinner.

The conference programme comprises highly technical presentations and in-depth case studies on a range of subject areas.

Subject areas can include, but are not limited to: specific demolition projects, health & safety, technology, abatement and remediation, government regulations, construction and demolition waste management and recycling, onsite efficiency and productivity, and mental health & wellbeing.

If your company is interested in participating, please send us a proposal for a topic you would like to present.

Proposed presentations can be project, research or issue focused, but must be of interest to demolition industry contractors and consultants. They should also provide detailed information that will help companies become safer, more efficient and more profitable.

While the key themes of WDS 2024 will be sustainability and circular economy, the event will also seek to examine the demolition market in different regions.

Organised in partnership with the European Demolition Association, with the support of the National Demolition Association in the United States and Volvo Construction Equipment as its headline sponsor, the WDS has grown significantly since its inaugural event in 2009, and is now firmly established as one of the major annual events for the demolition industry.

Last year’s event took place in Toronto, Canada, and attracted over 400 delegates from 18 different countries (including Japan, New Zealand, South Africa and Argentina), with over 150 demolition sector companies represented.
