The expansion is intended to boost the company’s production of jaw and cone crushers.

The facility, located in the city where Superior was founded in 1972, will increase crusher production capacity in Minnesota by 50%.

It will support the aggregates and mining industries in North America, with other crusher types such as vertical shaft impactors (VSIs) and horizontal shaft impactors (HSIs) continuing to be manufactured at the company’s plant in Belen, New Mexico.

“This new facility means more opportunities for everyone connected to Superior — from our dealers and producers to our team members and local communities,” said Jason Adams, president of Superior Industries.

The new site includes an integrated hydraulics assembly area, a dedicated test zone, and expanded warehousing for critical parts. The company also operates manufacturing locations in Canada, Brazil, and Asia to serve global markets.
