The Genesis GRX 295 Razor jaw

Attachment manufacturer Genesis, part of NPK Company, has launched its new GRX 295 Razor demolition shears.

The model is the second to be added to the Razer X Multi-Jaw demolition tool line. It features a hydraulic pin connected to the cylinder and jaw set that allows operators to complete safe jaw change-outs in just two minutes without leaving the cab.

Designed for use with excavators with a minimum weight of 66,000 lbs (30 t), the GRX 295 Razor has a short, flat-top head with a bolt-on bracket that shortens the centre of gravity. According to Genesis, this makes it easy to change the mounting for different carriers. It has a heavy-duty pivot design and a reverse-mounted cylinder that protects the rod from debris.

Available with shear, cracker or pulveriser jaws with depths of 20, 32 and 30 in respectively, the GRZ 295 Razor provides jaw openings ranging from 20 in for the shear jaw to 38 in for the cracker and pulverizer.

The model is suitable for concrete and structural steel recycling, construction and demolition waste processing, and bridge demolition.
