Sustainability in demolition will be the key focus of the conference programme, which will take place on 22 March 2024 and will con of a panel discussion with proven experts in the field of sustainability, such as Prof. Dr. Christian Berg and Sybille Mai.

In addition, the programme includes 10 further presentations by experts on sustainable topics in demolition, each followed by a discussion, so that the attendees are more closely involved.

This year, for example, there will be a report on “Urban Mining in Perfection”, as well as information on “Demolition material as an economic CO2 sink”. “Selected examples of building demolition” will also be presented.

Over 1,200 attendees and 117 exhibitors attended the 2023 event, with a net rented area of over 1,060 sq m, which DA Service says makes expectations for the 2024 event particularly high.

It said: “More than 85 exhibitors with over 950 square metres of net exhibition space have already registered for the industry exhibition with a wide range of products.

“The current list of exhibitors can be viewed on the event website and registration as an exhibitor is still possible until 5. January 2024.

According to the organser, the dialogue evening will traditionally also take place at Station Berlin, meaning that the exhibition will remain open in parallel to the dialogue evening.

“This improves the exchange and information opportunities for both sides - attendees and exhibitors - and enables a variety of networking opportunities throughout the evening,” it said.
