The Canadian business has announced a majority acquisition of Green City Demolition, based in Ohio, USA, following last April’s move for the Jones Group of Ontario, Canada.

Green City’s services including selective, interior and structural demolition, as well as abatement and hauling services. Apart from its Ohio head office, it also has a base in Kentucky.

Priestly said that joining the two companies together will enable both to expand their service offering and collaborate on bigger, more diverse projects.

Dan Thomas, president of Green City Demolition, added: “Joining forces with the Priestly team will give us the edge we need to compete in this aggressive marketplace.

“Now we can bid on projects that previously were out of reach.

“Knowing that we have access to engineers, industry experts, bigger equipment and additional resources is an exciting step forward.”

Priestly has been in business for 25 years and is a multiple winner at the World Demolition Awards including the Civils category at the most recent event in Vienna, Austria last year.
