NDA publishes policy agenda for 2021

The National Demolition Association (NDA) of the USA has released its 2021 National Policy Agenda, a, which outlines policy priorities that it says will strengthen the demolition industry and stimulate job growth across the US economy.

“With a new Congress and Administration, the NDA is optimistic about substantive legislation that will promote economic growth, ensure workforce safety, and further environmental stewardship,” said executive director Jeff Lambert.

“This agenda clearly defines the demolition industry’s positions and will help policymakers craft workable solutions to balance safety and health with the needs of our members.

“These are business owners in the community and are actively aiding our country’s economic growth. We are ready to work with lawmakers and regulators to ensure economic success for years to come.” The 2021 NDA National Policy Agenda is divided into the following policy areas:

  • Workplace Safety and Health
  • Labour and Human Resources
  • Tax Policy
  • Environmental Stewardship
  • Healthcare
  • Disaster Response
  • Procurement Transparency and Fairness
  • Trade
  • Infrastructure.

The final policy area, Infrastructure, is an additional item compared to the previous National Policy Agenda issued a year ago.
