Government ministers to attend demolition industry event

Two of Canada’s leading provincial government ministers are to attend this year’s World Demolition Summit (WDS) - taking place on 17 and 18 October in Toronto, Canada, to meet with representatives of the global demolition industry.

David Piccini, the Ontario Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development will attend the Networking and Registration Breakfast event, hosted by the Ontario Association of Demolition Contractors (OADC) on the morning of 18 October.

Margaret Taylor, Executive Director of the OADC, will welcome Minister Piccini to the event, where he will deliver a brief speech to the demolition industry’s leading contractors.

Later the same day, the Ontario Minister of Infrastructure, Hon. Kinga Surma, will attend the WDS to meet with event delegates to discuss their work and the issues affecting them.

Minister Surma will be greeted by Michael Mancinelli, Business Representative of LiUNA Ontario Provincial District Council, who will also accompany the Minister during her visit.
