In total, 65.2 km of Rail Baltica in Lithuania will be under construction at the beginning of next year.

Eurovia CZ, with extensive experience in railway construction projects, will be the main contractor for the project. Its partner in the works is Eurovia Lietuva. Eurovia Lietuva has already carried out work on the Rail Baltica project in the past, building 16 access roads and 2 service roads alongside the future high-speed railway to provide local connections and access to the railway – a total of 18.3 km of new roads.

The 17.1 km section is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. The work is planned to be financed by the European Union and the Lithuanian state budget.
