The Terex-owned company, which celebrated its tenth anniversary in June, describes the new machine as a high-capacity finishing screen and says it has been designed to deliver exceptional performance, rapid set-up and versatility across a wide range of applications.
The Falcon 1630 can process up to 500 tonnes per hour, depending on the material, feed size and screen configuration. Its three-deck screen box comprises 16 x 5 ft (4.9 x 1.5 m) top and middle decks and a 14 x 5 ft (4.3 x 1.5 m) bottom deck.
The machine also incorporates a 2-bearing incline screen box with adjustable screen angle to provide operators with the flexibility to optimise performance across varying material types and operating conditions.
It has also been designed for easier maintenance. Quick wedge tensioning, hydraulic tensioning on the bottom deck and dedicated access points reduce the time required to change screen meshes, helping to maximise uptime and productivity.
The four discharge conveyors fold hydraulically for transport and can be adjusted to suit different operating configurations. The fourth is an oversize conveyor, which offers variable tilt and side slew for accurate stockpiling or material recirculation.
Product manager Andrew Armstrong commented, “The Falcon 1630 has been designed to provide customers with a highly productive, dependable and easy-to-operate screening solution.
“We know that operators are looking for machines that not only deliver high throughput but are also quick to set up, simple to maintain and easy to transport between sites.
“With its large three-deck screening area, exceptional capacity and a range of features designed to reduce downtime and improve serviceability, the Falcon 1630 delivers exactly that.”
