Epiroc launches two pulverizers for large carriers

Equipment giant Epiroc has added two new pulverizers with its Performance Booster enhancement to its range of attachments.

The new DP 2320 and DP 4220 with Performance Booster are designed for use with carrier machines weighing 18 to 29 tonnes, and 38 to 57 tonnes respectively.
The 23-kg DP2320 and the 42-kg DP 4240 feature a slim, modular design that eliminates the need for cylinder rod protection, and their 360° endless hydraulic rotation ensures optimal positioning and precise handling on the job site.
According to the manufacturer, the Performance Booster - which can be retrofitted onto existing attachments - offers a 20% increase in performance and a 25% reduced jaw cycle time, which together help contractors complete jobs faster and most efficiently.
A key benefit of the DP 2320 and DP 4220 pulvizers with Performance Booster is that they also help to reduce the fuel consumption of the carrier machine by up to 35%. Epiroc says this makes them both a sustainable and cost-effective solution.
The company said: “Epiroc Demolition Pulverizers are highly versatile attachments capable of handling both demolition tasks and secondary breaking of debris.
“This efficiency facilitates material recycling and re-use, making Epiroc’s DP attachments an all-in-one solution for a range of applications.”
