Here is our lineup of the industry experts who will be speaking at this year’s Construction Technology Summit 2024.
Dr Chris Rausch
PhD Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin’s Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering
About
Chris obtained his PhD from the University of Waterloo, where he was appointed as an Engineering Excellence Fellow.
His research focuses on the intersection of construction and the circular economy and how this can be used as a strategy to scale the production of the built environment in a sustainable manner.
Chris has a range of industry experience with innovative practices including modularisation, offsite construction, artificial intelligence and digital fabrication.
At the conference, Chris will discuss the present and future uses of laser scanning in the construction industry, highlighting workflows, including dimensional quality for offsite construction.
Peter Bleday
Head of Autonomy at Danfoss Power Solutions
About
Peter joined Danfoss in October 2019 as an innovation specialist at the Danfoss Innovation Accelerator in Cambridge Massachusetts.
In October 2020, he took on the challenge of growing the new PLUS+1 Autonomy business as head of autonomous vehicles.
Peter has overseen the launch of one advanced hardware product, more than 20 software products, and six partnerships critical to the growth of Danfoss Power Solutions’ newest business.
Peter will discuss the technical, social and economic factors that are driving the need for vehicles with high operator assistance function and a future state of driverless automation.
Joel Honeyman
Vice President of Global Innovation at Doosan Bobcat
About
Joel is responsible for driving a culture of innovation, partnering with leading global technology firms and demonstrating the value of applying advanced technologies to current and new products, processes and services.
Alongside the global innovation team he leads, Honeyman focuses on “connecting the dots” of emerging technologies to connect new solutions to address customers’ toughest challenges to lead the industry forward.
At the conference, Joel will share how connectivity, electrification and autonomy are driving equipment advancements.
