Case evolves new G-Series wheeled loader

Case Construction Equipment has launched its G-Series Evolution wheeled loader range for the European market, saying it will improve performance and productivity by increasing uptime and giving operators greater control.

The company, which has made wheeled loaders for more than 60 years and has its European production facility in Lecce, Italy, added that it listened to customer feedback when designing the new machines.

“Wheeled loaders designed to work in the most extreme working environments benefit from improved performance and profitability when you shorten cycle times, by simplifying operations and increasing uptime,” said Egidio Galano, product management director at Construction Equipment, Europe.

The new payload system is integrated directly into the wheeled loader’s primary display and provides bucket weight, pass counts, accumulated/running weight, job tracking data and other information for high-volume loading and production environments.

Operators are said to benefit from the ability to precisely load each truck and reduce under or overload situations by accurately weighing each bucket, while cumulatively tracking the total weight of material loaded into each truck.

Case’s SiteConnect and SiteWatch telematics systems are also supplied as standard for three years, while the European product includes electro-hydraulic controls for the operator to independently set boom and bucket responsiveness in smooth, moderate or aggressive modes. Engine power management has been simplified into Smart or Max modes, depending on the operator’s requirements, and service intervals extended from 500 to more than 1,000 hours.

“Uptime and responsiveness are primary drivers for users when it comes to buying heavy construction equipment and the advances brought to the G-Series Evolution with remote diagnostics combined with the ability to update software and cancel inactive faults remotely will significantly shorten any downtime events experienced by the owner or operator,” said Egidio Galano.

“With SiteConnect, we are enabling two-way communication between machines and Case dealers, who can run remote diagnostics and best advise operators on any issues identified without even visiting the site.”
