Is your house ‘rubbish’? If not, maybe it should be

Footage shows how German company Büscher demolished an existing structure and then used the waste materials to build a new house.

The construction and demolition waste from the initial demolition works was recycled with crushing and screening equipment from Keestrack, which produced a range of secondary building products suitable for the new house.

In the end, 75% recycled construction and demolition waste was used to build the now house, which also included load-bearing and non-load-bearing interior walls made from 100% recycled aggregates.
