First telehandler produced by LGMG in Mexico
07 January 2025
The first telehandler has rolled off the production line at LGMG’s factory in Mexico.
With a maximum working height of 56 ft 1 inch (17.1m), a load capacity of 10,000 lbs (4535kg), and horizontal outreach of 42 ft (12.8m), the new H1056 is designed for heavy loads in congested areas.
The H1056 is also equipped with a 73.8 hp (55Kw) Cummins engine without adding DEF, to provide robust power while lowering cost and making it easy to maintain.
Stability has been designed into the model with a long wheelbase, wide chassis and large boom section.
There is also automatic leveling capability, allowing the H1056 to work on slopes of up to 10°.
Aimed at the US
Specifically designed for the North American market, the unit, which is now in mass production, has an open canopy, catering to market requirements and providing all-round visibility.
The new telehandler project marks the improvement of products and production capacity at the company’s Mexico’s factory, it said, “as well as being a milestone for the development of LGMG’s global manufacturing capability.”
The factory will soon produce other new telehandlers targeted at North America, including the H1256, H5519, along with larger models to serve requirements of the market.
