Superior Industries unveils Vantage Automation v7.2 for enhanced crusher control

Superior Industries, a US-based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, has released the latest update to its cone crusher control platform; Vantage Automation version 7.2.

The new version introduces several features aimed at improving usability and enhancing diagnostic capabilities for the company’s Patriot Cone and Dakota Cone Crushers.

These include a redesigned user interface with improved navigation and graphics, making the system easier to operate.

The system’s diagnostic capabilities have also been expanded to include individual solenoid testing and enhanced data recording, which Superior says provides greater accuracy for troubleshooting. Integrated solenoid testing eliminates the need for external tools by centralizing diagnostics directly on the system’s touchscreen.

According to the company, the software can be used to operate seamlessly with both its Patriot and Dakota cone crushers, streamlining updates and operations for users of both models.

To further support existing customers, the update is backwards compatible, allowing it to be retrofitted to previously manufactured Superior cone crushers.

“This update underscores the value of strong relationships with dealers and customers,” said Jarrod Adcock, Crushing Equipment Product Manager at Superior Industries. “The improvements are a direct result of their feedback.”

Vantage Automation v7.2 is now included on all of the manufacturer’s new machines shipped from January 2025 and can also be installed on existing units.
