Hyundai CE shares details of machines set for Bauma 2025

Hyundai Construction Equipment has released preliminary details of what the company is planning to present at the upcoming Bauma 2025 trade show, which will be held in Munich, Germany, 7-13 of April.
In total, the South Korean company will have up to 18 machines on display. Of those, 10 will be either all-new or feature new updates.
Included in that lineup is a pre-production version of the HW155H, a 15-tonne wheeled excavator which is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell system. At Bauma 2022 this was a static model, but at this year’s event the machine will be working in the demonstration area.
The fuel cell delivers between 70 and 100 kW of power which is sent to the electric drive motors and the electrically-driven hydraulic pumps. Onboard fuel H2 fuel capacity supports up to eight hours of continuous operation, while refuelling takes about 20 minutes.
The HW155H will be paired with a new low-pressure ‘hydrogen distribution vehicle’ to demonstrate how the machine can be supplied with zero-emission fuel.
The Hyundai CE HW155H has been nominated for a Bauma 2025 Innovation Award.
Also at Bauma, Hyundai CE will present the HD130A, the company’s first entry into the dozer market. The mid-weight model is described as delivering best-in-class power in combination with superior tractive effort, precise grading performance and a range of smart technologies.
The HD130A uses a Perkins 4.4-litre diesel engine delivering 117 kW (157 hp) and 710 Nm of torque. The powertrain also offers an Eco Mode which can be used for lighter grading operations and reduces fuel consumption by 5%, while Auto Idle and Auto Shutdown features help to reduce emissions.
There is a reversible hydraulically-drive engine cooling fan, while another electrically-driven charge air cooling fan can be reversed to clean the core. Cooling is further improved by location the system to the rear of the machine.
Other features include full electrohydraulic controls and a 2D Blade Dozing Assist function. There is also a cab tilt feature to improve ease of access to major driveline components.
Hyundai Construction Equipment will be located at Stand 913 in the Middle Open Air exhibition area.
