Almost 500,000 visited Bauma  (Monday 31 October)
Bauma organiser Messe München has revealed that more than 495,000 visitors attended the show from October 24-30, with around 50% being international visitors. More information here.

Electric machines revealed by Mecalac (Thursday 27 October)
Mecalac has unveiled a range of medium-sized electric machines for urban worksites, which it says can save as much as 64 tonnes of CO2 every year. Read more here. 

Hitachi marks milestone at Bauma (Thursday 27 October)
Manufacturer has marked its 50th birthday at Bauma, and marked it by launching four new zero-emission excavators at the show. Read more about the Hitachi machinery on show here. 

Komatsu launches electric machines (Thursday 27 October)
Komatsu unveiled six electric machines at Bauma, as it continues its path to becoming a carbon neutral business by 2050. More information on the machines can be found here.

Sinoboom and Falcon Lift agree partnership (Wednesday 26 October)
Sinoboom has agreed a partnership with spider lift specialists Falcon Lifts, that will see the company increase and develop spider lift sales. Read more here. 

Kobelco launches demolition excavator (Wednesday 26 October)
Kobelco has outlined its intentions to become the number one demolition excavator manufacturer in Europe. Speaking to KHL at Bauma, managing director Makoto Kato says he believes the company are well placed to deliver the machines required in Europe. Read more here. 

Initiative to measure equipment use launched (Wednesday 26 October)
The Committee for European Construction Equipment (CECE) has launched the Uptime Tracker programme, designed to measure equipment use. Data compiled by the programme will be collected monthly via CECE members. Find out more here.

Bauma launch for ‘world’s largest’ spider lift (Wednesday 26 October)

Palazzani has presented the 58m working height TT2J58 spider lift, which it claims is the largest on offer. As the model is as yet unavailable commercially, the manufacturer anticipates a 2023 release. Read more here

Hyundai reveals concept wheeled excavator (Tuesday 25 October)
The HW155H concept wheeled excavator from Hyundai Construction Equipment has been shown to Bauma visitors. Powered by hydrogen, the machine is expected to be released commercially by 2025-26. Find out more here.

New controls for Mobilair compressor models (Tuesday 25 October)
Compressed air systems specialist Kaeser Kompressoren has updated its controls for its line of Mobilair compressor models with the launch of new operating panel. Available on three models, more information can be found here.

Plus+1 software by Danfoss (Tuesday 25 October)
Danfoss Power Solutions has unveiled the Plus+1, a software solution aimed at supporting improved machine autonomy and driver support. Learn more about the software here.

‘World’s largest’ directional drill revealed (Tuesday 25 October)
Ditch Witch has unveiled its all terrain directional drill at Bauma 2022. According to the company, the drill is the largest directional drill in the world, and comes with 533.8 kN of thrust and pullback and 21,015 Nm of rotational torque.Learn more here.

Rototilt introduces ergonomic joysticks (Tuesday 25 October)
The Rototilt Control (RC) concept product line has been expanded with the launch of new joysticks designed for use with machines fitted with tiltrotators. For more information on the joysticks, click here.

Himoinsa shows new diesel generator sets (Tuesday 25 October)
The latest battery power storage systems, light towers and gas and diesel generator sets from Himoinsa are on show at the power technology solutions company’s stand at Bauma. The full range of equipment on show can be found here.

New topless tower crane from Raimondi (Tuesday 25 October) 
The T187 topless tower crane has been unveiled by Raimondi. As well as the T187, the manufacturer is adding seven other machines to the Class 110 range. Read more here. 

AC 4.070-2 mobile crane unveiled by Tadano (Tuesday 25 October)
The new AC 4.070-2 mobile crane from Tadano has been debuted at Bauma 2022. The 70 tonne machine has a capacity of 7.1 tonnes at a 12 metre radius, or 7.3 tonnes at a 10 metre radius. Click here for more information on the machine.

New battery-electric compact excavator from Bobcat (Tuesday 25 October)
The E19e compact excavator from Bobcat has been unveiled at Bauma, as part of a number of electric machines on offer from the manufacturer. Additional information on the E19e can be found here.

Bauma debut for Faresin 17.45 electric telehandler (Tuesday 25 October)
Italian manufacturer Faresin has debuted its new series of fully electric telehandlers, including the Faresin 17.45, 14.42 and 17.40. More details on the machines, which form the ‘Big Range Full Electric’ series, can be found here.

Earthmoving equipment the focus for Topcon (Tuesday 25 October)
Topcon Positioning Systems has revealed more details on its MC-Mobile system, which it describes as a 3-in-1 solution for compact equipment. Find more details on the MC-Mobile here.

Manitowoc shows Potain MR 229 crane (Monday 24 October) 
A range of Potain luffing jib tower cranes has been shown on the Manitowoc stand, including the new MR 229. Said to be ideal for confined sites, the crane is the first in a new generation from the company. Read more here.

Locatelli launches RT cranes (Monday 24 October)
Italian crane manufacturer Locatelli has launched two new RT cranes at Bauma 2022, both of which will be made available to purchse in the coming months. More information on the machines can be found here.

Grader automation and wheel loaders from John Deere (Monday 24 October)
John Deere has exhibited a new range of grader automation technologies and advancements at Bauma, as well as its P-tier wheel loaders. Full information can be found here. 

New compact excavators from Takeuchi (Monday 24 October)
The TB335R, TB350R and TB395W compact excavators from manufacturer Takeuchi has been shown to Bauma visitors. More information on the excavators can be found here.

Goldhofer unveils new motor blade transporter (Monday 24 October)
The new FTV 850 motor blade transporter from Goldhofer has been unveiled at the show. To see a video of the transporter in action, click here.

Concept crane shown by Wolffkran (Monday 24 October)
Crane manufacturer Wolffkran has shown its FX 21 Clear flat top crane range for the first time. The cranes are in the 140 to 200 tonne-metre class range. Read more here. 

First electric telehandler for XCMG (Monday 24 October)
XCMG has launched the XC6-2506E electric telescopic handler at Bauma, which it claims to be the first electric telehandler from a Chinese manufacturer. Read more here.

Elevek transport platform set for Bauma debut (Monday 17 October)

At an online press event Caterpillar announced that its construction industries division was working on four new electric equipment machines, two excavators and two wheeled loaders. Several of these machines will be on display at Bauma Munich in prototype form. More information can be found here.

A step closer to ‘Autonomous crushing’ (Thursday 15 September)
SBM Mineral Processing will use Bauma to showcase its new REMAX 600 crusher, which it says represents the next step to autonomous crushing. The 600t/h-capacity impact crusher serves as a technology platform for the first fully automatic production monitoring and control system.

Sennebogen will present its new mobile electric material handler to the public for the first time at Bauma. Bauma launch for ‘world’s highest spider lift’ (Monday 5 September)
Easy Lift is to launch what it claims is the highest spider lift in the world at the Bauma construction exhibition in Munich, Germany.

The RA53 features a double telescopic boom and jib, and has a working height of 52.4m with a maximum outreach of 20m. More information on its specifications can be found here.

Imer to launch electric mini scissor (Monday 5 September)
Italy-based manufacturer Imer is to launch its new IM 5080 mini scissor lift model at Bauma 2022. The IM 5080 machine is one of two models in the company’s new series of self-propelled electric mini scissor lifts. Read more here.

Vögele to debut road pavers (Tuesday 23 August)
Vögele is to premiere new road pavers and screens as part of its new Dash 5 generation at bauma 2022.

The Super 1900-5(i) and Super 2100-5(i) highway class pavers, and the AB 500 and AB 600 extending screens, will be among the equipment on show. Find out more here.

Bauma launch for 3.5 tonne hybrid truck mount (Friday 19 August)
Aerial platform specialist Ruthmann is to show a new 3.5-tonne Steiger truck mount at this year’s Bauma exhibition. The Steiger T 300 XS Hybrid truck mount offers a 30m working height with a maximum outreach of 23m. More details can be found here.

50-tonne electric crane from Sennebogen (Monday 15 August)
The Sennebogen 653 E Electro Battery is a 50 tonne capacity machine with a telescopic boom. It will be launched at the Bauma construction equipment exhibition in Munich, Germany, this October. To find out more about the crawler crane, click here.

Zoomlion to introduce 58m boom lift (Friday 12 August)
Among the equipment launches from Chinese access equipment manufacturers will be the new ZT58J Ultra model from Zoomlion. 

Boasting a working height of 58.8m, the telescopic boom lift is a four-wheel-drive unit that can handle rough terrain. It will be presented alongside three new lithium-battery powered MEWPS, on which more information can be found here.

Kleemann premieres Mobirex crusher (Wednesday 10 August)
German crushing and screening machine specialist Kleemann is to demonstrate its new Mobirex MR 130(i) Pro impact crusher for the first time at Bauma 2022.
