ZenRobotics expands partnership with AA Protun
24 September 2024
ZenRobotics, a company specializing in robotic waste sorting systems, has announced an expansion of its partnership with AA Protun AG. The agreement, which originally covered Switzerland, now includes Liechtenstein as well.
AA Protun AG has been involved in the recycling industry for over 30 years, focusing on the recycling of construction and mixed building waste. The company has been representing ZenRobotics in Switzerland since 2011. Following ZenRobotics’ acquisition by Terex in 2022, the renewed agreement extends AA Protun AG’s responsibility to both Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Commenting on the partnership, André Bucher, CEO and owner of AA Protun AG, said: “When I first learned about the ZenRobotics sorting robots in 2010, I was convinced that this was the future of our industry.
“Since then, we have proudly represented ZenRobotics in our region and are still as excited today to see the advancements in technology and the impact these robots have on productivity and quality.”
ZenRobotics’ Sales Director, Juha Mieskonen, emphasised the importance of existing partnerships, noting that AA Protun AG has been instrumental in supporting key clients in Switzerland, such as Eberhard, Sogetri, and Spross.
He said: “Potential customers have these reference sites on their doorstep, some of which already feature our 4.0 upgrade. They can see just how efficient our robots are to waste operators of today. We now look forward to working with AA Protun AG to expand our market reach across the Switzerland and Liechtenstein markets.”
The two companies aim to combine their expertise to promote robotic sorting solutions designed to enhance efficiency and productivity in the recycling industry across the expanded region.
