How it all went down in Stockholm

An event like no other, the delegates list for WDS 2024 read like a ‘who’s-who’ of the industry’s most experienced and influential deconstruction professionals.

Over 400 attendees representing 151 companies from 18 countries were present at the event, which was opened by Stefano Panseri, President of the European Demolition Association (EDA).

In his opening remarks, Stefano commented on the Summit’s key themes: “This year’s conference themes – sustainability, collaboration and leadership – are more than just words,” he said.

“They are the cornerstones of a future where demolition not only deconstructs, but also reconstructs the possibilities for our planet and its people.

“The EDA’s relationship with Demolition & Recycling International magazine, and with the KHL Group, stretches back well over 25 years.

“The legacy of the collaboration represented by D&Ri and the EDA is a powerful reminder that we must continue to apply the same collective effort to meet the challenges of today.”
