Next Wednesday is transatlantic Webinar Day for demolition

Two major continental demolition associations are to host webinars on Wednesday 9 February.

The European Demolition Association (EDA) has rearranged its event on “Meeting CDW (Construction and Demolition Waste) Management Challenges in Greece” from the original 2 February date.

Taking place at 2pm CET, it will feature Michail Daktylidis and Paraskevi Angelakopolou, president and project manager respectively of Pedmede (the Panhellenic Association of Engineers Contractors of Public Works).

As well as presenting Pedmede ECO – the collective system of alternative management of excavation, construction and demolition waste – the speakers will discuss the current situation of the demolition industry and the main challenges relating to construction and demolition waste.

Attendance is free of charge but delegates need to register in advance on the EDA website as numbers are limited.

The NDA will discuss the benefits of membership in an interactive event

Later the same day, starting at 1pm EST (7pm CET), the US National Demolition Association (NDA) is hosting an interactive webinar to talk about its services for members, new members and anyone interested in joining.

NDA members and executive director Jeff Lambert will answer audience questions and provide an overview of the benefits available.

Membership resources include the NDA’s high reach document, safety manual and app, and listings in the Membership Directory,
